About

I was inspired to invent these antifables by some of my favorite thinkers who have led the way in this genre, James Thurber, Mark Twain, Leo Tolstoy, Soren Kirkegaard and George Ade.

The antifable is a short narrative built upon a distortion, parody, misapplication, or unexpected contextualization of a moral idea.

It often takes the form of parody. It is usually comic or satiric. The goal is to twist and fracture conventional wisdom in order to brew up a bit of fresh truth for our time.

Be skewered and enjoy!
